At Dirt Works, our equipment is the foundation of everything we do. We operate a comprehensive fleet of heavy construction and utility equipment — maintained, staffed, and ready to deploy on projects of any size and scope. From tracked drill rigs and hydrovac trucks to dozers and custom-fabricated specialty attachments, we bring the right iron to every job site. All equipment is operated by trained, certified personnel and maintained by our full-time in-house team.
DOZER
Our dozers are built for pushing, grading, and clearing on the toughest terrain. High-traction undercarriages handle soft soil, steep slopes, and rocky ground with ease, making them essential for road building, site clearing, and mass grading operations. Horsepower: 71–175 hp | Operating Weight: 17,500–36,000 lbs | Blade Type: Power Angle Tilt (PAT) | Track on Ground: 96–103 in.
EXCAVATOR
Our excavators are the backbone of our earthmoving operations, handling digging, trenching, grading, and lifting across a wide range of civil and utility projects. With 360-degree cab rotation and multiple bucket sizes available, they deliver precision and power in everything from tight residential cuts to large open excavations. Horsepower: 42–271 hp | Operating Weight: 9,000–81,000 lbs | Max Digging Depth: 11–26 ft | Bucket Options: Multiple sizes available.
MOTOR GRADER
The motor grader is our precision grading machine, used for fine grading, road building, and material spreading on civil and utility access road projects. Its long blade delivers consistent material control across large work areas, ensuring proper drainage and a smooth finished surface. Horsepower: 255 hp | Operating Weight: 44,040 lbs | Blade Width: 8 ft 8 in | Blade Pull: 49,500 lbs.
VAC TRUCKS
Dirt Works operates a fleet of Mud Dog hydrovac trucks available 24 hours a day. Each truck is equipped with over 200 feet of hose and high-pressure water and vacuum systems capable of safely exposing underground utilities in tight, congested, and environmentally sensitive areas. Our fleet is well-maintained, fully staffed, and ready to deploy on projects of any size and scope. Capacity: 1,200 gallons | Hose Length: 200+ ft | System: High-pressure water and vacuum | Available: 24 hours a day.
WATER TRUCK
The water truck handles dust control, compaction moisture support, and equipment washdown on job sites. A critical piece of equipment for environmental compliance and Cal/OSHA dust control requirements, it keeps sites clean and compliant throughout the project.
LOADER
Our wheel loader handles bulk material movement, backfilling, and truck loading across job sites. Fast, versatile, and equipped with quick-attach bucket options, it keeps material flowing and trucks loaded efficiently throughout the project. Horsepower: 125–166 hp | Bucket Capacity: 2.5–5.25 cu yd | Operating Weight: 22,600–30,600 lbs | Breakout Force: up to 22,672 lbs.
SKID STEER
The skid steer is one of our most versatile machines — compact enough to work in tight spaces but powerful enough to dig, grade, grapple, and lift. With interchangeable attachments it adapts to a wide range of job site tasks that larger equipment can't handle. Horsepower: 57–100 hp | Operating Capacity: 1,750–3,700 lbs | Operating Weight: 6,300–12,100 lbs | Attachments: Bucket, Grapple, Auger, Breaker.
COMPACTOR
Our compactors provide the soil and base compaction required to meet project specifications on foundations, roadways, and trenches. We bring the right machine to ensure proper compaction at every lift
ROLL OFF TRUCK
Our roll off trucks transport debris and material containers to and from job sites. All containers are secured and confirmed within rated weight capacity before leaving the site, and drop locations are planned to maintain safe clearance from overhead lines and site hazards. Configurations: 2-axle and 3-axle | Container Type: Roll-off | Compliant with California weight and transport regulations.
SUPER 10 DUMP TRUCK
Our Super 10 dump trucks haul bulk material to and from job sites — dirt, rock, gravel, and debris. All loads are confirmed secured and within rated capacity before leaving the site.
HEAVY HAULER
Our heavy hauler is a lowboy used for moving large equipment between job sites. It handles our excavators, dozers, and drill rigs, getting the iron where it needs to go safely and efficiently.
FLATBED TRUCK
The flatbed truck hauls equipment, materials, and oversized loads between job sites. All loads are chained, tied, and flagged before moving in compliance with California transport regulations.
DTC 30 GEAX
The DTC 30 GEAX is our compact tracked drill rig, designed for drilling in tight spaces and difficult terrain where larger equipment can't reach. Built on a Kubota base machine, it handles utility pole foundations, small diameter caissons, and infrastructure projects in areas with limited access. Lightweight and highly maneuverable, it gets the job done where other rigs simply can't go. Torque: 19,900 ft-lbs | Drilling Diameter: 42" | Drilling Depth: 47.5 ft | Drill Speed: 0–45 RPM | Main Winch: 7,800 lbf | Machine Weight: 20,950 lbs
OFF-ROAD POLE HAULER
The Off-Road Pole Hauler is a purpose-built 6x6 vehicle designed to transport utility poles safely to job sites that standard trucks cannot access. Whether it's a remote mountain road or a steep hillside route, the Pole Hauler gets the material where it needs to go. Chassis: 6x6, 5-ton | Max Capacity: 12,000 lbs | Max Pole Length: 100 ft
DTC 80 GEAX
The DTC 80 GEAX is our largest tracked drill rig, built for heavy-duty drilling in rocky, steep, and remote terrain. With a 10-foot drilling diameter and 60-foot depth capacity, it handles the most demanding utility pole foundations and large-diameter caisson installations. Its Komatsu base machine provides the stability needed to work on severe slopes and tight access areas. Torque: 80,000 ft-lbs | Drilling Diameter: 10 ft | Drilling Depth: 60 ft | Drill Speed: 0–60 RPM | Crowd Force: 35,000 lbs | Kelly Winch: 30,000 lb line pull | Service Winch: 12,000 lb line pull | Transport Weight: 81,500 lbsS
PORTABLE CONCRETE BATCH PLANT
Our portable concrete batch plant allows us to produce fresh concrete directly on the job site, eliminating delays associated with transit mix deliveries on remote or time-sensitive projects. Mounted on a roll-off system for easy transport, it handles a variety of mix designs to suit your project's structural requirements. Output: 50 yards/hour | Mix Designs: custom to project requirements | Transport: roll-off system
TOWER DRILL
The Tower Drill is a specialized hydraulic drill designed for precision boring in confined and sensitive job site conditions.
